OVERVIEW

After covering 23 km, offer a short prayer in Sevoke Kalibari (temple of goddess Kali) on Sevoke road, to take the blessings for a safe onward journey through the winding roads of the mountains. Day 01 :

Transfer to Kalimpong

Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/ Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and from here, your Kalimpong 2 Nights 3 Days Package begins. Sevoke Kali Temple is near the banks of waterway Teesta and has rich greenery all around. Reach Kalimpong after covering approx 75 km and check into the hotel. After freshening up you have the rest of the day to yourself, take a stroll around in the local market for relics and handicrafts or visit any nursery. Return back to hotel for a nightstay at Kalimpong

Day 02 :

Kalimpong Sightseeing

Today, in this Kalimpong 2 Nights 3 Days Package, after Breakfast start your local sightseeing of Kalimpong from Durpin Dara Hills there is a Tibetan monastery located on Durpin Hill, known asDurpin Monastery. From the upper terrace of the monastery, you get magnificent views of Kalimpong town with Kanchenjunga in the background, the valley and the plains, the Teesta & Reang Rivers flowing down, and the lovely tea estates of the Peshok area. Pine View Cactus Nursery has a great collection of cactus and ornamental plants. You can get a great view of Kalimpong town from the backside lawn, Mangal Dham is an excellent temple complex built in the memory of late Guruji Mangal Dasji and dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Dr Graham's Homes was set up by Dr J A Graham in 1900 as an orphanage cum school for destitute Anglo-Indian children it is located on the way to Dello Hills and you can walk across to various parts of the school, lunch on the way, Dello Hills an 8-acre lush parkland with manicured flower gardens and several viewpoints with breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga, Hanuman Mandir perched on the hill a short hike towards this temple offers a serene and picturesque view of the Kanchenjunga peak in its full glory and on a sunny day neighboring state of Sikkim and the surrounding landscapes of lava and Kafer hills is also clearly visible. After sightseeing you are free to either relax in your hotel rooms or to explore the local market for handmade merchandise and mouth-watering local and Chinese cuisine. Night stay at Kalimpong.

Day 03 :

Get Dropped at NJP/Bagdogra Airport

You will have your breakfast at the hotel and after breakfast bid your farewell to this magnificent town that sprawls along a saddle-shaped mountain ridge overlooking the roaring Teesta River and is lorded over by the summit of Kanchenjunga. While returning see the breathtaking view of the lush greenery and the Teesta River from the coronation bridge which is a perfect way to end the Kalimpong trip.
